Russian Tennis Star Andrey Rublev Champions Charity with Rublo Merchandise, Pledges 100% Profits to Children in Need

Tennis Star Andrey Rublev Donates Rublo Merchandise Profits to Children in Need

In a heartfelt announcement at the onset of the 2023 season, 26-year-old Russian tennis sensation Andrey Rublev shared his philanthropic endeavor tied to the launch of his clothing line, Rublo. The decision involved stepping away from wearing Nike apparel and embracing a new venture that, for Rublev, transcended financial gains.

The Rublo brand, with its distinctive logo featuring angel wings, symbolizes hope and kindness for the player who candidly describes himself as a “depressive” individual. Rublev’s commitment to charity takes center stage as he declares that all proceeds from the Rublo merchandise collection, totaling 100%, will be directed towards supporting children in need.

In an Instagram announcement, Rublev expressed his motivation, stating, “It’s not about business this time because I’m not gaining anything. I believe that people’s ego only brings bad things, and the bigger the ego, the worse things happen.” The tennis star emphasized the importance of maintaining humility and positivity, regardless of external treatment.

Acknowledging the collaborative effort behind his clothing line, Rublev extended gratitude to individuals instrumental in the project, including Galo, Lisa, Alvaro, Ivan, Sofia, Maria, Mia, Sofia, Renata, and Alexander. Special recognition was given to Belen (@belem68) for managing the production process.

Renowned in the tennis world for his amiable personality, Rublev has earned praise from fellow ATP and WTA players who consistently describe him as one of the nicest figures in the locker room. Beyond the confines of the court, Rublev’s commitment to giving back adds another layer to his positive impact, making his actions resonate both on and off the tennis stage.
