The young tennis sensation, honored by King Felipe VI, voiced his apprehensions during a post-event media interaction, shedding light on Nadal’s uncertain status amidst ongoing preparations for the clay-court season, notably the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters.
In the wake of being presented with the esteemed accolade alongside triathlete Susana Rodriguez, Alcaraz addressed the press, not only discussing his own endeavors but also touching upon the prospect of partnering with Nadal in doubles at the Paris Olympics.
“Presently, I’m unaware of Nadal’s condition or his well-being. As a Spanish tennis enthusiast, naturally, I’m worried. With four months until the games, much remains uncertain, but I remain hopeful for both him and myself,” Alcaraz remarked, highlighting the unpredictable nature of professional sports.
